ProtonURL ("we", "us", "our") is committed to providing a safe, legal, and responsible AI-powered content generation and secret sharing service. This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") governs all content generated, published, transmitted, or stored through the Service. All users, developers, and integrators must comply with this Policy.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to all content forms supported by the Service:
- Text: AI-generated or assisted writing, code, articles, and conversations.
- Images: AI-generated or AI-edited images and illustrations.
- User Input (Prompts): prompts and instructions submitted by users.
- Encrypted content: text, files, and data shared through the one-time-read link service.
2. Content Standards & Prohibited Categories
ProtonURL expressly prohibits the use of this Service to generate or distribute any of the following six categories of content:
- Sexual / NSFW content.
- Violent / gory content.
- Hate speech.
- Child safety content (CSAM).
- Deepfakes / impersonation of others (Deepfake).
- Content infringing copyright or trademark.

2.1 Zero Tolerance — Immediate Action
The following content, upon detection, is subject to immediate action and may be reported to authorities:
- Child sexual exploitation material (CSAM) or any sexual content involving minors.
- Content promoting or assisting terrorism, extremism, or mass violence.
- Instructions for manufacturing weapons of mass destruction.
- Content inciting genocide or ethnic hatred.
- Deepfake sexual content targeting real individuals without consent.
2.2 AI-Specific Prohibitions
In addition to the general prohibitions above, given the AI-enabled nature of this Service, you specifically agree NOT to:
- Use the Service's input, output, model responses, or any derivative data to train, fine-tune, benchmark, distill, or otherwise develop any AI or machine learning model that directly or indirectly competes with the Service or ProtonURL.
- Large-scale systematic scraping or collection of model outputs for purposes beyond your authorized personal use.
- Represent AI-generated content as output from a human professional (e.g., licensed doctor, attorney, or financial advisor) in contexts where doing so could cause harm.
- Use jailbreak prompts or other attempts to bypass the Service's safety mechanisms.
2.3 General Prohibited Behavior
- Generating or spreading misinformation or rumors.
- Impersonating real individuals, brands, or organizations.
- Infringing intellectual property, portrait rights, or privacy of others.
- Passing off AI content as human-generated content.
- Bulk-generating spam or fraudulent content.
- Attempting to circumvent one-time-read destruction, quotas, or rate limits.
- Unauthorized resale or sublicensing of Service access.
- Using the Service from sanctioned jurisdictions or on behalf of sanctioned entities where prohibited by law.
3. Content Moderation Mechanism
ProtonURL employs a multi-layer moderation system combining automated detection, human review, and periodic audits.
3.1 Automated Moderation (Real-Time)
All requests and generated content are scanned in real time by safety filters:
- Input filtering: keyword, semantic, and intent analysis of prompts.
- Output filtering: real-time safety assessment of generated content.
- Usage pattern analysis: monitoring for anomalous API call behavior.
- Safety models used: OpenAI Moderation API and proprietary models.
3.2 Human Review
- Content automatically flagged enters a human review queue.

5. Reporting Channels
